Hello, Through their temples, sculpture, and pottery, the Greeks incorporated a fundamental principle of their culture: arete. To the Greeks, arete meant excellence and reaching one's full potential. Ancient Greek art emphasized the importance and accomplishments of human beings. One regarding major difference involving the a couple of cultures is their approach towards art. The Ancient greek language were more philosophical in addition to idealistic, while the Romans were more realistic and somehow extravagant in their approach to sculpture. Egyptian art emphasized three basic elements, engraving, sculpture, and painting. Engravings lined the inside of tombs and are the most common and well-known form of Ancient Egyptian art.
