All good things must come to an end
My eyes glisten in the summer rain as I lift my head to look at you, all the memories come flooding back. You stare at me as if we were never in love. Just simply strangers that know each other. As if we meet for the first time again, every day. I can feel my heart bleeding, I keep telling you how I feel, as I’m pouring out my soul on to the pavement you slip farther and farther away. You ignore every word I say. You are different today like every day. You’ve changed, yet you’re still exactly the same. Have you forgotten how you use to feel about me? Do you still care or are my efforts redundant? What can I say to show you what was meant to be? If I could go back in time I would, I wish to do that every day. I wish I had said this to you, I wish I did this, I wish I didn’t. I say I’m sorry and I tell you those three words but you don’t seem to listen or even care. Why? What happened to us? Why can’t I fix it? You confuse me, you used to tell me how much I mean to you but now you couldn’t care less. Well, I don’t want this to be over just yet, but I guess there’s nothing more I can do or say to make your stay. At least I still have all the memories of us at least I can reminisce in the good times. I suppose all good things must come to an end eventually. I love you.
