It is the Monera Kingdom that is one of the five kingdoms in the older biological succession. Th organisms in this kingdom are prokaryotic unicellular with no nuclear cover or envelope such as bacteria. The kingdom is divided into two groups Archaebacteria and Eubacteria.
The kingdom monera is one of the five kingdom divisions of living organisms accroding to Whittaker. Other kingdoms include Protista, Fungi, Plantae and Animalia.
The kingdom monera represents the only group consisting of prokaryotic organisms. The are unicellular and their cells lack nucleus and membane-bound organelles such as mitochondrion, lysosome, etc. They mostly reproduce asexually by binary fission or budding and their cell walls is rigid and posses peptidoglycan.
Example of organism in this kingdom include bacteria.
Monera kingdom is one of the five kingdoms in the older biological succession. It consists of unicellular organisms that do not have no trues nuclear membrane which is characteristics of the prokaryotic cells and thus is also referred to as Prokaryotic organisms
