What are the different sources of fresh water

Fresh water sources include: 
-Rivers
-Groundwater
-Lakes
Ice sheets also contain fresh water as do glaciers. Those aren't really obtainable though unless they melt into rivers or other sources listed above.  

There are two main sources of water: surface water and  ground water. The surface water can be found in lakes or rivers. ground water lies under the surface of the land and travels through openings in the rocks.
