In the winter the resort welcomes thousands of avid skiers from around thee world. The resort hires many seasonal employees to maintain the property, working in teams with a single manager. Over the past six years, Barry has moved up through the ranks from seasonal employee to full time employee. Becoming one of five grounds managers is a great accomplishment for him. Unfortunately, as he begins work with a new crew, his productivity and that of his team falls dramatically. What advice would you give Barry? Asked to be reassigned as a full-time grounds keeper rather than manager
Evaluate his strengths and weaknesses and seek advice and support from the other grounds managers
