1. Sunglasses protect my eyes from UV rays and reduce the risk of cataracts. They also protect the tender skin around your eyes from sun exposure. Sunglasses that block both UVA and UVB rays offer the best protection. Wrap-around sunglasses work best because they block UV rays from entering on the side.

2. Block out the sun at home during the day by closing curtains and blinds. Open the windows when there is a cool breeze. Stay out of the sun during the hottest part of the day. If you do have to go outside, wear a hat and sunscreen, and seek shade.

3. the Philippines enjoys a tropical climate that is for the most part hot and humid year-round, but can be roughly divided into a dry season between November and May, and a wet season between June and October. Although in recent years, due to climate change, summers have been extending into June and July.
