What is the difference between an argument and a parameter variable?

The value enter in the function calling is called argument. Argument passed to function.

The variable declare in the function to capture the pass value from the calling function is called parameters.  

Explanation:

Argument is used in the calling function and parameter is used in the defining the function.

for example:

//create the function

int count(parameter_1, parameter_2,)

{

  statement;

}

count(argument_1. argument_1,);   //call the function

assuming you are in the home page.

1) go to the upper right hand corner

2) click on your "profile picture"

3) go down to "edit profile"

4) it should be titled as "edit your profile", click on "profile picture"

5) choose a file

6) press "change"

you're profile picture is updated
