The Staff Welfare Association of Regional Maritime University (RMU) provides welfare facilitates especially loans to staff of RMU. To enjoy these facilities a staff has to join the
association. The staff fills an admission form which goes to the President or any appointed
executive of the association for approval.
On this form the staff indicates how much should be deducted from his/her salary at the
end of each month and paid to the association. This payment is done by the Accounts
department of RMU.
Staff can apply for different types of loans from the association by filling another form
through the portal. The Human Resource (HR) department has to verify the staff member.
At the end of every December, the Stores Unit of RMU takes delivery of food items for
delivery to every member of the association.
