There are very few coastal areas today that do not have houses or businesses lining the shores in Florida. As more and more people have moved to the coasts, there has been concern about the impacts all of these developments have on the beaches. To help protect the beaches, in some areas, there has been a large effort to plant sea oats. How does planting sea oats help protect the shores from human development?
