Based on its analysis of cases, should it then make a recommendation for the sentence in the current case, or should it simply display similar cases, as a search engine would, so that the judge can review them? Or should it provide both a recommended sentence and the relevant cases? A specific recommendation from the system that differs from the judge's initial plan might lead a judge to give a case more thought. Or it might influence a judge more than it should.
