It was 8 am when an earthquake of magnitude 9.1 largest on record ripped of the fault line of the Indian ocean.Discharging a massive large column of water to the shores. It was the deadliest on record as it took 230,000 lives in just a few hours. After which the deadly waves traveled to Thailand with a 500 mph speed and crossed the Indian ocean with a death toll of 5,400 civilians and 2,000 foreign tourists.  As there were large faults and the earthquake rapture the 900-mile long stretch Indian and Australian plate boundary and the oceanic floor was forced upwards. The occurrence of the earthquake and the large scale destruction of life and property clearly shows the lack of awareness of people and lack of information system to track on the natural disaster.   The most important thing to do at such a time is to be prepared and evacuate the place with immediate effect, secondly to find a high land or plateau land, and to have had a proper warning system in place with adequate mitigation classes being given to masses.
