What were the international implications for the fall of the berlin wall

The Berlin wall marked the union between East and Western Germany,  it also brought down Communism and the threat of the Cold War, freeing not only Germans from continual fear but the rest of the world as well.

The Berlin Wall at that time was created to separate Germany into two: Eastern Germany and West Germany. (Eastern Germany was influenced by Soviet Union's communism while Western Germany was influenced by United States' democracy)

At that time, the people in Eastern Germany lived in a poor and horrible state, until the people decided to banded together and destroy the wall to reunite with their long loss Brethren on the west.

The destruction of the wall marked the end of Communism influence in Central Europe. Soon after the wall is destroyed, the soviet union started to loss their power and eventually separated into several countries.
