Food from Chile, Argentina, Uruguay and Venezuela is much less spicy than the rest of latin american countries, although some countries are very addicted to this seasoning, this trend is not shared throughout the continent, the European influence in those countries changed their gastronomy and food habits, however, in some regions from those countries you can get a very strong spicy for tourists, locals would probably never taste it.  In others countries like Mexico and Brazil, it is almost obligatory to eat their dishes with a spicy touch.
