For this assignment, you will write a 1-2 paragraph email to a historical figure, then answer your email pretending to be the historical figure. You can choose to write to one of the following historical figures from your reading in ELA:
• Raphael
• Ludwig van Beethoven
• Mary Cassatt
• Marian Anderson
• Thurgood Marshall
Or a historical figure from 1900-2000
In your email, you will introduce yourself to the person you wrote to, then ask them FOUR questions. Be prepared to research the answers to these questions.
Your email must include:
1. A subject line
2. A salutation/greeting like “Dear [Name],”
3. A polite and respectful tone
4. Correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar
5. A closing like “Sincerely,”
6. Your first and last name after the closing
