Most of canada's population is located in the southern portion of Canada. This is because southern canada has a climate more suitable for agriculture and farming than the northern territories like the yukon and nunavut territories. In northern canada, building roads is difficult too. The terrain makes building roads across the frozen tundra much harder than in the south. That is why, most of Canada's populations live in large southern cities like Toronto, Quebec, Edmonton and Calgary and Vancouver.
