The International Conference on Population and Development or Cairo Conference in 1994 was an international meeting coordinated by the UN which took place in Cairo, Egypt, from September 5 to September 13, 1994. Its Program of Action resulting is the main document for the United Nations Population Fund.

Some 20,000 delegates from various governments, UN agencies, NGOs and the media gathered to discuss a variety of issues related to the population, including immigration, reproductive health, infant mortality, contraceptive methods, family planning, the education of women and the protection of women from unsafe abortion outcomes.
