The manager of a newsagency conducted a survey to find out the most popular newspaper. he found that the sales ratio of the ‘daily news’ paper to ‘wacky news’ paper was 2 : 5 and the ratio of ‘wacky news’ to ‘truthful news’ sold was 4: 1.
(a) if 25 ‘truthful news’ papers were sold on friday, how many of ‘wacky news’ were sold?
(b) using your answer to (a) find how many ‘daily news’ papers were sold on the same day?
