-2/x^2-4 + x-1/x^2-2x

This one is really hard. Make sure to follow the steps exactly!

Since both are like rational compounds, add them together: (x-3)/(2x^2-2x -4)

Factor out GCF from denomination: (x-3)/ 2(x^2-x-2)

Factor the denom: (x-2)/2(x-2)(x-1)

Restrctions: x = 2 and 1. These are removeable because they make the denom  = .0

Cancel the x-2 factorials: 1/2(x-1).

Final 1/2(x-1), removeable discontinuations are 2 and 1. Nonremovable is just y = 1/2 or .5 since that is the stretch factor.
