Then to find the y- intercept use the slope and the numbers from one of the points like this ---->   y = mx + b we are looking for b.  

(plugging in the first point)  (using the point (9,3))

3 = -3(9) + b

3 = -27 + b (add 27 on both sides)

30 = b (that's your y- intercept)
