A: y=2x+6
First, you have to find the slope.
As x increases by 3, y increases by 6 so the slope is rise/run so it would be 6/3 and simplify so it’s gonna be 2.
b of the y=ax+b is y-int so it’s a y value when x is 0 so in this case, 6.

B: y=-2x+8
First, you have to find the slope.
As x increases by 2, y decreases by 4 so the slope would be -4/2 and simplify so it’s gonna be -2.
b is equal to the y-value when x is 0 so in this case, 8.

C: y=3x+4
First, you have to find the slope.
As x increases by 2, y increase by 6 so the slope would be 6/2 and simplify so it’s gonna be 3.
When u solve for b, first, at this point, you have the equation y=3x+b so you’re gonna plug in random point into it so for ex, 2 for x and 10 for y(as it shows on table) and you can get 4.

D: y=-1/2x+6
First, you have to find the slope.
As x increases by 4, y decreases by 2 so the slope would be -2/4 and simplify so it’s gonna be -1/2.
When u solve for b, first, at this point, you have the equation y=-1/2x+b so you’re gonna plug in random point into it so for ex, 8 for x and 2 for y(as it shows on table) and you can get 6.
