I got this answer by first breaking the expression into groups [(6x^2+3x)+(-4x-2)] and then I factor out the 3x from the 6x^2+3x which then that becomes 3x(2x+1). Then I factor out -2 from-4x-2 which becomes -2(2x+1) and then so far we have 3x(2x+1)-2(2x+1) and then we factor out the common term 2x+1 and then we have (2x+1)(3x-2) as our answer.
