It’s often difficult to know which method (graphing, substitution, or linear combination) is best to use when solving a system of equations. Certain methods work much more smoothly with certain systems than others. Knowing when to use each method is a useful skill for algebra. Design a chart, flow chart, mind map, or some other visual to help you decide when to use each solution method.
