We can think of a pie as a frustum of a right circular cone, which means that it has a top circle, a bottom circle, and a height (or depth). We measured a pie, and found out the circle of the top diameter is 10 inches and the bottom diameter is 8 inches. We also know that the volume of this dish is 40 2/3Ï€ cubic inches. Using your knowledge of circles, and using the following formula for a frustum of a cone:V=1/3 pi (r2/2+r1 r2 +r 2/1), answer the following questions. (Give the exact answer AND an answer rounded to the nearest tenth (if applicable). Include appropriate units. Use the button on a calculator to estimate).

a. Find the circumferences of the top and bottom of the pie

b. Find the areas of the top and bottom of the pie
