How many more bytes of info are in a gigabyte than a megabyte?

This is computer science but anyway:
There are 1,000,000,000 bytes in a gigabyte and 1,000,000 bytes in a megabyte.
1,000,000,000/1,000,000=1,000
A gigabyte has 100 times as many bytes as a megabyte.
