Multiply both sides by the LCD, 15x:  5x + 3x = 15  

                                                          8x = 15  

                                                            x = 15/8 hours  

                                                              = 1.875 hours  

                                                              = 1 hr 52 min 30 sec

the answer is 1 becuz if it were 1.0 that would rip apart the entire so ya. : )
