Among all the pairs whose sum is 16, find a pair whose product is as large as possible. what is the minimum product

Pair 2: 15 + 1

Pair 1 makes the biggest product because 8 × 8 = 64
Pair 2 makes the smallest product because 15 × 1 = 15

No he does not because he can only cover 12 square feet from 15 square feet which he will still need 3 more. this is because if 3×5=15 square feet and 15-12=3 which thats the answer
