if r=revenue and n= number of tickets sold, then r(n) shoes how revenue (amount of money received from tickets sales) depends on the number of tickets sold.
r(n)=65n
if c= cost and n=number of tickets sold, then c(n) shows how cost (expenses of the concert promoter) depends on the number of tickets sold.
c(n)=4n+5500
part 1: write an equation fir the profict function p(n). show your work.
hint: profit =revenue- cost
part 2: fine the profit for the concert promoter if he sells 850 tickets. show your work and explain what your answer means in terms of the problem.
