leaves at 7:20 and averages 60 mph (miles per hour) on the way. Elijah leaves
at 7:30 and averages 62 mph on the way. The situation is modeled by this
system, where x is the number of hours after Elijah leaves and y is the
distance each will travel.
y= 60x + 10
y = 62x
How long after Elijah leaves will he pass John, and how far will they each
have traveled?
