In (a) you are given a distance (32.12 m) and a rate (8.8 m/min), and are asked to find the time required to ascend this far at this rate.

Since d=rt, t = d/r.  Here, d = 32.12 m  /  (8.8 m/min) = 3.65 min.

b)  think about this and then share your own answer.
c)  This time has already been calculated, in part a.
