you know that the circumference of the circle= 2 times pi x radius (2*pi*r)
Thus, the distance the bug has to travel to make a lap around the path is 2*pi*r. In this case, r=3.5 Thus, 2*pi*(3.5) is 7*pi.

If the bug travels at 14*pi an hour, then divide the distance by the rate. 7*pi/14*pi= 1/2, or half an hour in other words. Think about this: if I travel at 14pi/hr, and the distance is half of 14, I will only need half the time... thus half an hour. Hope that helps!
