Water stored in a reservoir is used to generate electricity as it flows down and into a river. The river flows to the ocean, where it evaporates to form clouds. Rain falls from the clouds into streams that flow into the reservoir. Put the locations of the water in order of most potential energy to least potential energy. Assume the amount of water in each place is the same. These are the locations: 1. where it enters the river from the reservoir, 2. when it is in the ocean, 3. when it is in the reservoir, and 4. when it is in the clouds. Explain the basis for the order you chose.
