Geographically, World War II did not take place in countries such as United stated and Canada.

Various countries across the globe fought in World War II was East Asia, Europe, the Pacific Islands and some part of Africa. Countries such as China, Poland, Russia, Germany, etc. were directly involved in the war.  

Canada, the United State and other countries may have not witnessed the war in their countries, but they were still very much involved. The countries provides arms weapons, troops, and formed allies with other countries fighting in the war.
