The working class (or labouring class) refers to all individuals who works to receive a salary mostly doing manual labour jobs and industrial work. Working-class occupations is defined by different collars and it is divided into : blue-collar jobs, some white-collar jobs, and most pink-collar jobs.

A blue-collar worker is the one who does manual jobs and may be made up of both skilled or unskilled labor.

The blue collar work may involve manufacturing, mining, custodial work, farming, commercial fishing, landscaping, pest control, food processing, oil field work, waste disposal, recycling, construction, maintenance, shipping, driving, and other manual work.

A white-collar worker is an individual who works professionally either in managerial work or administrative work. White-collar work may be performed in an office or in any other administrative setting. White-collar workers are found in academia, business management, customer support, market research, finance, human.

A pink-collar worker is an individual who works in care center and is mostly dominated by woman it can be a beauty industry, nursing, social work, teaching, secretarial work, or child care.
