Economic region.

The European Union is an intergovernmental and supranational organization whose members are European countries. This international organization works through a combination of supranational and intergovernmental systems. Important organ institutions within the European Union are the European Commission, the European Union Council, the European Council, the European Court, and the European Central Bank.
