The Election of 1800 is MOST important to the changing of our country's history because it forever changed the way we voted for president by adding the 11th Amendment to the Constitution it forever changed the way we voted for president by adding the 12th Amendment to the Constitution it forever changed the way a tie was handled- from now on it would always be by a duel it forever changed the amount of people who could consider a run for president
