One more dimension that can be added to the cultural dimensions created by Hostede is the national appreciation, where society recognizes the appreciation of its own culture and customs through the companies and institutions presented in the country. An example of this can be mentioned in the Christmas commercials for Coca Cola, or other companies. While in the northern hemisphere these commercials focus on a wintry climate, since Christmas takes place in winter, in the southern hemisphere, commercials must assume a scenario in summer, since in these countries, Christmas takes place in summer, thus valuing culture local.
