Why is economic growth important for the standard of living ?

We humans increase our population rapidly. With such a high number of people we need higher amounts of services for us. Going from food, to water to shelter, the three basic things we need to survive.

We need economic growth to provide the three main things needed to survive. If we cut out 1 of these main sources our population will rapidly and deadly go down to a point of extinction.

Example: In Brazil there is a large heard of genetically modified type of cattle made from the strongest bulls sperm that creates hundreds and hundreds of cattle we use to butcher and eat. These cows which are strictly female are modified for the conditions to live in Brazil but still are healthy and can increase healthy birth rates.
Also like on Spain there is a huge farm for tomatoes and other goods but this time I'll be talking about the tomatoes. They have this organized procedure used in growing healthy and fast growing tomatoes which us consumers buy for daily needs. They add minerals to the water so the plant has nutrient rich chemical properties to give is our daily needs or nutrients. The farms of these two examples are so large they can feed about 3 billion people even more every year, probably more now.
As the human population grows so does our demand for these products
