List the electoral systems used in guyana​
And explain the difference between the two systems

(1) Guyana is a semi-presidential system, like France and Russia. In the case of Guyana, the President has the greater authority,including the power to dissolve or summon Parliament. The President appoints the Prime Minister from among the elected members of the National Assembly. See the Constitution of Guyana, Articles 70, 99, 102.

(2) The presidential candidates are designated as such by the party lists presented for the parliament. Voting for the parliamentary lists of a party constitutes a vote for that list's presidential candidate. The President is thus not separately elected from the parliamentary representatives; split votes are not possible. Constitution of Guyana, Article 177

(3) Unless Guyana is at war or under a state of emergency, in which case the term may be extended by the president for up to five years, one year at a time. Constitution of Guyana, Article 70

The Metric and Imperial systems are both systems of measurement. That is, they are not just one unit of measure, but are inter-related systems of many units of measure – measuring length and area, weight and mass, volume, force, energy, power, time, temperature, luminosity, etc.

Metric and Imperial differ in almost all of the particular units used in the two systems (meters vs feet, kilograms vs pounds, etc.). However, they share units measuring time (seconds, minutes, hours) and electricity (volts, amperes, watts, ohms, etc.) — Time, because no one was successful in decimalizing it, and electricity because it is newer than either the Metric or Imperial system.

The Imperial System is also called The British Imperial because it came from the British Empire that ruled many parts of the world from the 16th to the 19th century. After the U.S gained independence from Britain, the new American government decided to keep this type of measurement, even though the metric system was gaining in popularity at the time.
