Part A:Place your hands palms down, next to each other on your desk. Keep your fingers close together, and hook your thumbs beneath your desk. Now push your hands tightly together. Where do you feel pressure? How does this relate to the pressure between two plates? Part B: How can you relieve the pressure on your hands? How might the pressure between two plates be relieved?

What I felt is that :)

A) the first joint of my index finger and the middle knuckle of my thumb I have small hands so I might be diffrient from yours and it symbolizes the plates touching I. getting bumped from other plates (tectonic)

B) Moving the hands apart can help ease the pressure. If the plates move away from each other, the pressure between them will decrease.
