What "push " factors caused Irish and Germans to leave their homelands for the United States?​

If your talking about america's early days when they were first colonized its because German and Irish were facing terrible soil and crop conditions and america was tossing out land acres and acres to those who came here. America had nice soil conditions and so much land to give out to those who made the ultimate sacrifice to establish their family's here.
