Jim lives in a state that decides to tax its citizens to provide funding for religious schools. All different types of religious schools can request funding from the new tax, so state officials feel the tax is fair. Jim, however, refuses to pay the tax. 4. Sandra is accused of shoplifting. She is placed n trial and the jury finds her "not guilty." Shortly after the trial, the store finds a videotape showing Sandra committing the crime. The District Attorney decides to charge her again for shoplifting. Sandra is put on trial a second time for the same crime. 5. Leroy is arrested for causing a public nuisance when he repeatedly refuses to stop playing loud music after 10 pm at night. The judge refuses to set any bail before his trial. After Leroy is found guilty, the judge sentences him to three years in prison. .​
