Assessment
In this lesson, you learned how to analyze primary and secondary source
documents and synthesize the information from those documents in
response to a prompt. For your assessment, you will put what you have
learned into practice.
1. Review the background information and six sources on the previous
pages.
2. Respond to each reflection question on provided template in one to
two paragraphs. Use details from at least two documents as well as
information from the lessons for support.
3. Be sure to include which documents you used for support on
the template.
Tip: In each response, be sure to reference the specific documents used
for support. For example, you might say, "In The History of Japan, scholar
Louis G. Perez describes a rich variety of trade goods that ..."
