Ihave a project on writing about a us legal case that took place in the supreme court do you guys know of any good ones that i can write about?

Well, there is a big one and that would be Obergefell V. Hodges. That one is always mentioned in my history class when we refer to the Supreme Court. (I hope I spelled them correctly.) That is the law which allows same sex marriage to be legal in ALL 50 states.

Then another case that I know is to class discussion. It would be California V. Greenwood 1988. That case is about the government digging through Greenwood's trash cans because they received a tip that he possessed narcotics.

Another one would be Texas V. Johnson. To me, this is very interesting. It's about a man burning the American flag in protest and it was classified under free speech. (In 1st Amendment). I cannot remember the ruling at this moment but, it was a cool case to learn about.
