In the dispute between the FBI and Apple, which side do you support and why? How would you counter the arguments offered by those on the other side of this debate? Are there any circumstances in which you think the government’s right to information should take precedence over an individual’s right to privacy? Should any technology firm be allowed to create a privacy protection system that is so impenetrable that it could never be overridden, regardless of the government’s need for this information?

I support Apple, unless the information being withheld poses an immediate threat to lives or national security there’s no need for the release of personal information to the government ever. It is every persons right to privacy and they are protected by the first amendment to say what they feel whether they act on it or not is an entirely different story. I believe network security should be impenetrable even by the government, it is private information, it should not be viewed or shared unless given permissions or if flagged for dangerous activity such as, i dont know mass shootings or terroristic acts.
