Reagan: quick decision on military moves, he said that force is a last resort and world peace is the primary resolution. he explained that the burdened of maintaining peace lies on america. he believes that america has to intercept before a much bigger crisis come out. he also mentioned that he has a 5-year plan to provide a balance budget and have tax cuts for the people by lessening government spending.    carter: marvin stone stated that he has insufficient military response.he explained that he has been more wiser. he was focused on peace treaties. he wanted to be keeping security and peace in america.    he already emphasized that american forces should foremost uphold peace despite the fact that america is well prepared for military aggression. carter explained that strength comes not on combat but on the preservation of peace.i think during this period america was looking for immediate actions on the crisis being in the middle of the world situation. however, they would have seen that reagan has a better approach to solve the crisis through military means. however, carter still has a point to resolve it in peaceful means which at that time may not be a favorable option for americans because he didn't have the exact details or a plan on how he can make his views happen. lastly, he was not able to push it after putting a view of her daughter on the debate, it didn't worked out.
