In what ways did fdr's early experiences shape his political ideology

Franklin Delano Roosevelt(FDR):

FDR was born to a businessman and  was the only child as he studied at Harvard. FDR had interests in reading newspaper more often, after spending some time at Harvard he got married to his cousin Eleanor.

While,he also had another cousin who was admired by FDR the most, because of his political ideology and his rise in the Republican party.

Explanation:

In the year 1913, FDR joined the Wilson administration on post of  assistant secretary of the Navy, where he learned tons of things relating the world war. As FDR had a key role in preparing the US for entry in to the world war.

He unfortunately contracted polio virus and lost most of his body control, but with the rehabilitation sessions he got recovered soon as a healthy man. Due to that tragedy he became more brave, after which he had found more empathy for the people of the US.

industry had made the u.s. the richest nation in the world at this time. the second industrial revolution caused growth in industry and transportation, which allowed increased trade between nations.

the economic difference between the three colonial regions. shipbuilding, whaling, fishing, and trapping where also main factors to the economy. the southern regional colonies economy was based on sugarcane, rice, cotton, tobacco, and indigo.
