The recent research showed that glial cells have more activity and are essential than previously thought. First, they help in neuronal communication; they help to potentiate the communication between the neurons, also, it potentiates the cerebral functions like being the thought and the emotions, and finally, these cells migrate to regions of the brain where pathologies are found and proliferate, interacting with the immunological system.

Some facts that has been learnt by scientist about glia cells through some research recently are:

Glia cell is able to potentiate the communication between the neurons.

It is able to helps in some areas of neuronal communication.

Glia cell helps to potentiates the cerebral functions.

Glial cells can be regarded as non-neuronal cells that is been found in central nervous system and the peripheral nervous system which doesn't take part in production of electrical impulses.With the help of recent research by scientist, they were able to conclude some functions that can be carried out by the glia cells.They showed that Glia cell can move it cell to some regions of the brain incase there are pathologies and interact with immunological system.
