How are the chemical senses different from the non-chemical senses? chemical senses are less strong than the non-chemical senses. you must experience chemical stimulus in order for your senses to work. they require chemical receptors in addition to neurons for sending messages to your brain. you must be careful that you don't burn your neurons with the ingested chemicals.
