would a modern consequentialist explain the wrongness of the following case?
Fred hates his wife and wishes she were dead. He decides to poison her one morning,
but Fred is pretty dumb and he mistakes some medicine for poison. As it turns out,
Fred's wife had an infection and the medicine ended up saving her life.
