Without knowing the question is this a good answer? Over the summer I read The Hunger Games. The story (I'm sure you know but for the people that don't know) is about a girl named Katniss Everdeen who is 16 (the protagonist). Primrose Everdeen (Katniss's sister) is 12 (the age when you are required to go to the reaping) gets called to go to the Hunger Games. Katniss does not see how this is possible considering Prim's name was only in to me drawn 1 time. Katniss volunteers to take Prim's place immediately after her name was called. (The hunger games has 1 boy and 1 girl from each of the 12 districts) Katniss and Peta Mellark (the boy from district 12) are on their way to the capital they feel as though they are prey to a bunch of lions because everyother district trains to be in the Hunger Games while district 12 despises the Hunger Games (in the Hunger Games all 24 contestants go to a random arena and fight until only 1 person is alive).

The conflict Katniss faces is external conflic (man versus society). In the end Katniss overcomes the capitol and allows the districts to be free.

I think this conflict could eventually happen in the real world. I feel that one day billionares (the 1%) will take over and seperate the world into districts and have us fight just as they do in the Hunger Games.
